I'm submitting this picture for an online contest on RestlessPhotographers "Landscape/Street Contest" [link] ... just wanna have some fun :D

Photo Technique:
480rc0 head + elbow bracket + 18-55 kit lens set at 18mm to take 10 vertical frames, spot metering.

Post processing (PP):
RAW Conversion (W/B: Tungsten), Panorama Conversion (PTGui), Photoshop (Crop, levels, shadow/highlight, canvas, watermark).

------
Note:
1. Set manual exposure and manual W/B (set the same for every frames of the pano). Kalo dynamic range nya terlalu besar jaraknya, exposure bisa di set di tengah2, mungkin lebih ke ngejaga highlight engga burn out. This is very important, otherwise nanti antara frame beda2 warnanya, jadi jomplang. Or pake HDR technique (belum gw coba).

2. Ensure that your tripod is level with the ground, aim to have it constant/minimum movement for every frames (tapi set hanya sekali aja, jangan diubah2 in between frame).

3. Pastikan juga, antara frame itu ada overlapping of image (paling tidak 30% nya; jadi pas di stitch, bisa keliatan sambungan2nya itu ada dimana).

4. Kalo udah pake shutter speed lama, use timer or remote dan pake MLU (Mirror Lock-Up), to keep the image sharp, reducing vibration cause by mirror slap. This is to prevent lights coming in and affect the exposure/final output of the image. In camera NR juga di On.

-. In PP, in my previous panorama images, I have used PhotoStitch (from Canon) and PhotoMerge (Photoshop). I initially tried to use a different technique: masking technique with photoshop layering. But my laptop keep shutting down when I tried to save it. I decided to have a try with PTGui (also considering RealViz Stitcher), and bought it online. It definitely gives more control.

-. RAW Conversion: W/B Tungsten, Levels and Shadow/Highlight (to get abit more detail on the shadow areas), Watermark. USM is applied on the end.

Comments and critiques are most welcome.

Thank you.
